The optional goal is not to lose Aster's grace.

On Windows:
1. Right-click on .exe file -> "Copy"
2. Right-click in the desired location -> "Paste Shortcut"
3. Right-click on shortcut -> "Properties"
4. There is a path to an executable file in quotes. You should add the argument after these quotes:
"D:\path\to\file\ppsr.exe" --rendering-driver opengl3
5. "OK"
6. Execute the shortcut
On Linux:
Run the executable with "--rendering-driver opengl3" arg

From what I understand, the data was erased and they had to redo things. Luckily, they had a backup and most of it was saved. I think it comes out on December 25th.

this is great, I'd love for there to be an option to make the mentor a futa and female.
perhaps a non-ntr version of this game concept would be interesting.
also an option for some sfx! maybe when the pair is split it can be more reverbed out?

I really love this game. It's still early, but I like the concept. My only frustration, which is also hypocritical because I love the hidden ntr, is that I want to see more of what's happening to Aster. The dimming is so great, and I like it when I even realize after a few rooms that her cape is gone or more. Would just like to see more since they only do stuff in the pitch black.

It is, update got delayed due to some backend stuff but they released the next build on Patreon (its mainly backend changes) and development is seemingly back on track, they just had to fix the backend stuff to allow the addition of new mechanics I think

Got some idea.
1. Mentor can leave some trace on Aster after thier interaction.
(Such as lip print or hand print or hair or somekind of liquid)
2. Mentor can equip Aster with something naughty, some of them are
permanent
3. Some thing like rubber appears in shop, the best is Aster tell MC to buy it, and MC Have no idea what will going on.
(None protection may cause some consequence, can affect ending)
4. Want nightvision potion or whatever can let me see Aster in low torchlight, of course it won't stop anything, just want to enjoy it properly.
5. Love lever so we can see how Aster fall from us to Mentor.
I'm not professional, just put forward my idea. Your game is amazing, good luck with your development.

Game frequently crashes on linux atm! Can't even make it through one dungeon without it hanging up. Music continues playing but the game is totally unresponsive with the whole screen frozen as is. Any way I can find an error report or smthn to let you know what's wrong? Otherwise! Love it so far! Really great concept and I can't wait to play more :3

Run the executable via terminal emulator and play until the game crashes. There will be lots of parse and CPP errors reported in terminal, but they always seemed to be harmless. Please send the log or its last pieces to me.
oh yeah didn't think abt running it from the terminal. a lot of games stop logging to it once they fully start up. i'll check in a minute.
Looking forward to the next update, this game seems like its got a lot of potential.

I love this game I wish we could see more of the corruption. The black silhouette is great just of course hides it. But love the update!!

Yes, it just got updated for paid boosty subscribers. This update will come public next year. I mean a week later or so =)

As for suggestions, I can think of a couple:
1. More sound effects is a must, I think they'd add a lot.
When the log says 'Aster follows closely' (or whatever it says), that implies there's a chance for her and Mentor to lag behind a room. So maybe have a chance for the two to disappear from the animations and just have the player hear them while the hero fights by himself? And then you can either go looking for them or wait for them to catch up?
2. The selling point of the game is the interactions with the light levels so I think you should lean into that as much as possible (e.g. random events that affect the light level, or that only occur at certain light levels (beyond just different animations, although that's a part of it).
Maybe try and implement an in-game reason to have lower light levels rather than just that you can't afford torches. Something like you can find more loot if it's darker? Then you can have Aster and the Hero discuss this with the Mentor, who encourages them to explore in the dark (for his own reasons too of course).
I'm thinking Darkest Dungeon kind of things, if you've played that. You could also maybe have some kind of stress meter or hallucination effects for the hero (some of which might not be hallucinations), but that might be a bit much.
I'm not sure how technically feasible it is, but I'd love to have unique animations for when the light level is increased during a scene. e.g. Aster suddenly realising you can see her and quickly adjusting her clothes while blushing.
Anyway, those might be ideas for the far future. I'd focus on just getting the main mechanics streamlined and some more content in for now, but it's looking good so far!

I like your ideas. I'll think about them. One of them, in a sense, is being worked on. Some are already "approved" and postponed for later, especially better/not absent sound design.
Speaking of adjusting clothing animations - putting on/off clothes in realtime 3d is theoretically possible, but no one ever does it even for AAA games. It requires disparately huge time investments. I've been thinking about how I can imitate it, but I haven't come up with anything yet.

That's fair regarding the clothing animations, I've never done 3D animations but makes sense that it would be a difficult thing to do. You might be able to kind of cheat it somehow in the game mechanics e.g. if you used a torch during an animation then after a brief moment Aster panics and extinguishes the torch (so the screen goes black), and then re-lights it with a different animation running i.e. Aster blushing and covering herself.
Which brings up another thought actually, it would be great to have some dialogue between the characters during the dungeon runs. Maybe for longer dungeons you could have dedicated rooms that are safe to rest in to recover health/stamina, and those could have some dialogue between the characters (and maybe some different events/animations eventually).

Ok, I'll tell you straight, you need to check these files carefully because again it's showing up as a virus and this time even Google's security system showed it as ransomware.

I'm a bit confused, what exactly do I do? Every time I win, Aster just goes to sleep and the only thing I can do is go back in the dungeon.
I think the game is just that for now, it's still a prototype, and in my opinion it's better for the creator to work on the gameplay first and then on the story
